Ukapsy Capsules

Ukapsy capsules is a formulation with herbs which helps to prevent & manage urolithiasis. Ukapsy capsules contains herbs  with anti-​microbial, diuretic and anti-urolithiasis activities. Herbs such as Varuna, Gokshura helps to prevent stone formation due to the anti-lithogenic activity and the anti-crystallization properties. Gokshura and Shatavari may help to prevent stone formation via antioxidant and antibacterial effect. Shatavari may help in hastening the process of dissolving or by flushing of the preformed stones. Diuretic properties in Punarnav, Shatavari may help in flushing out smaller stones.

Gokshura

Tribulus terrestris

Gokshura is one of the components of dashamoola, widely used in treating urinary tract infections, renal disorders, urinary calculi and diabetes mellitus. The presence of nitrates, essential oils and potassium salt contributes to the diuretic action of gokshura. The ethanolic extract of Tribulus Terrestris has been proven to have the anti-urolithic potential of the drug.

Kulattha

Dolichos biflorus

Kulattha is a well-known herb used in Ayurveda for its uro-litholytic properties. It facilitates the reduction in the size of the urinary calculi and also helps in the expulsion of the calculi.

Punarnava

Boerhavia diffusa

The roots of punarnava are a well-known diuretic used in Ayurveda. It is used in the management of ascites, urinary disorders, jaundice, UTI, urinary calculi, burning micturition, and biliary stones.

Chandraprabha vati

Ayurvedic classics mention it as a remedy that can cure all diseases and that which makes one glow like a full moon. Shilajit and guggulu which are the two main ingredients of Chandra prabha vati possess chedhana and lekhana properties which may help in reducing the size of the calculi.

Pashanbhedaka

Homonoia riparia

The literal meaning of Pashanabedha is that which can break the stone. In Ayurveda, it is used in the management of urinary calculi because of its antilithic and diuretic properties.
